Introduction[]
The Lord of the Rings: War in the North is an action role-playing game developed by Snowblind Studios. It takes place during the events of the main story of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings and it's set in the northern parts of Middle-Earth. Peter Jackson's film trilogy The Lord of the Rings is another source of inspiration. Many characters found in The War in the North closely resemble their movie counterparts. The player can either tackle this story alone or in the co-operative mode for up to 3 players.
